We are doing this trip in memory of Mark Eccles born 8th February 1975 died 12 October 2007. Mark's spirit of adventure inspired us all. When he found out about us doing this trip he was buzzing for us. We knew he would want us to push forward with the fundraising and not only make it a trip of a lifetime but make it worth while for the charities in question. Mark was a great friend to all of us and we miss his smile. Mark died doing what he loved, riding his motorbike. Any money raised above our target will go to the intensive care unit in Bodlwydden where Mark was cared for.

We arrived back last week and we had a fantastic time. A big thank to to everyone that helped. We will be putting some pictures and stories of our adventure on this website over the coming weeks. Unfortunately We both got our camera's stolen during the trip, so we are relying on our wonderful teammates from the Gold team for their pictures. I will also be adding links to their blogs etc so you will be able to get a taste of what we went through.

Needless to say it was a trip of a lifetime. If you ever get the chance, just do it!!
